Junior Photographer (Parttime)

Job Description

Maha Amsterdam is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Photographer to join our team on a part-time basis. As a vital part of our creative team, you will play a key role in capturing the essence of Maha Amsterdam through imagery, helping to communicate our brand’s vision and values. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a female-driven, inclusive, and dynamic multibrand store at the heart of Amsterdam’s streetwear community.

Position
Parttime (16–20 hours per week).

About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for producing high-quality photography that represents Maha Amsterdam’s style and story.
This includes capturing images for our e-commerce platform and social media channels.. You’ll work closely with the creative and marketing teams to ensure visual content aligns with our brand identity.

Tasks

  • Photograph product images for our e-commerce store with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Create images for social media and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and execute visual concepts.
  • Retouch and edit images to meet brand standards, ensuring consistency in style and quality.
  • Assist in managing and organizing photography equipment and assets.
  • Stay informed about trends in photography, fashion, and streetwear to inspire fresh and innovative content.

Profile

  • A degree (or in-progress studies) in photography or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Skills in digital photography and image editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
  • A good eye for composition, colour, and detail.
  • Passion for streetwear, sneakers, and fashion, with an understanding of Maha Amsterdam’s aesthetic.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset, open to feedback and teamwork.
  • Amsterdam-based, with flexibility to adapt to scheduling needs.
